Time: 18:00 - 19:30 (Tea served from 17:30)

Arbor Day at Laddsworth

On Friday, 20 September 2024, in celebration of Arbor Week, Mr Lambooy and the Laddsworth Eco-Club planted an evergreen Indigenous white-pear (Apodytes dimidiata) tree at the far side of the Centenary field.

This tree grows 5-10 meters tall, provides plenty of shade, has flowers with a fresh coconut scent, and attracts birds and insects.

Thank you again to the Laddsworth Eco-Club for their relentless work towards nature and conservation #AimHigh

Meet "Daisy" - Project Rhino

In celebration of World Rhino Day, the Laddsworth Eco-Club introduced the Hilton community to 'Daisy,' the Laddsworth Project Rhino creation. This creation was done to support the #FutureRhinios campaign run by Project Rhino, as schools around KZN create their own rhino creations.

'Daisy' is covered by an armor of old shattered CDs, has red nails, and her horns are wrapped by the Girls' summer dress material.

Daisy can now be seen grazing and standing proud at the Hilton Quarry SuperSpar.

An Evening of Music at Laddsworth
