Laddsworth Runner’s up at Bisley Soccer Festival

The Laddsworth First Team Soccer Girls took part in the Bisley Soccer Festival on Saturday, 16 September 2017, at Bisley Park Primary School. The First team lost to Bisley in the Final, which ended in a sudden death penalty shoot-out,
Jordyn Wood was awarded ‘Best Player of the Festival’ and was presented with a soccer ball.
Mr Sihle Nxumalo was named ‘Best Coach of the Season’ and was awarded a trophy.

Midlands Cricket Selection

Luke van Niekerk, a Grade 7 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School, has been selected to represent the Midlands Under 13 Cricket Team. We wish him well for the Inland Festival, which will be held in Pietermaritzburg over the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of September 2017.

Highest mark in Woodwind Flute

Ruth Ackerman, a Grade 4 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School, was invited to perform at the ‘Best of the Best’ concert on Thursday 14 September 2017 in Pietermaritzburg. Ruth received this invitation as she achieved the highest mark in Woodwind Flute at the recent Eisteddfod.
Well done Ruth!

The Laddsworth A Athletics Team participated at the Pelham Classic Inter-Schools Meeting on Saturday, 02 September 2017.
A few members of the team did extremely well:
Jodi Moreno broke the Under 10 - 1200m record
Ellen Oosthuizen equaled the record for the Under 10 – High Jump
Nothile Zondi came first in Under 11 Shot Put
Leah Stewart came first in the Under 11 1200m
