Provincial KZN MTB Colours

Omar Wilson, a Grade 6 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School was awarded his KwaZulu-Natal Colours for Mountain Biking on Saturday 24 November 2018 in Durban.
Omar achieved his colours in the Sprog Boys, Under 12 Category. He represented KZN at the SA Downhill Championships at Hartebeespoort in April, where he came first in his category. He also represented KZN at the Enduro Championships at Karkloof in October, where he came first again. Omar came 2nd at the Spur XCO School Series and 2nd at the ROAG Marathon Series in his category.

Laddsworth Cricket Stars

Laddsworth played cricket against Pelham Primary School on Saturday 10 November 2018.
Joshua Julius made 103 runs for the 1st Team and Viwe took 6 wickets for 14 runs off 6 overs for the under 10A Team.
Well done Boys!

KZN Cricket Inland Squad

Laddsworth Grade 6 pupil, Ryan McKean has been selected for the Under 12A KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Inland Squad. Ryan will be taking part in the Inter-Provincial Tournament, which will take place in Gauteng from 9 to 19 December 2018.

South African BMX Championship

Liam Buis, a Grade 1 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School, took part in the South African BMX Championship, held on 7 October 2018, in Pietermaritzburg. Liam was placed 6th in his age group of Under 7 Boys.
Liam will be competing in the last round of KwaZulu-Natal races on 26 October 2018 at Giba Gorge.
We wish Laim well for these last BMX races.

Umgungundlovu Inter-District Relay team

Taebron Jursa, a Grade 7 pupil at Laddsworth Primary School, was selected to run on Saturday, 29 September for Umgungundlovu in a KZN Athletics Inter-District relay team at Kings Park Athletics Stadium in Durban. She ran in the Under 15 Girls, Swedish Medley Relay and the Under 17 Medley Relay, running the 100m section. Her team won all their races. Unfortunately the Under 17’s dropped a baton, but still managed to win the Best District Girls Team and the Best Overall District Team (boys and girls).
